Image Compression

Reduce image file size without losing quality

Compress Images
How much can I compress an image?
The compression ratio depends on the image format and content. JPEG images can typically be compressed by 50-80% without noticeable quality loss, while PNG images may compress 40-70%. Our tool uses smart algorithms to find the optimal balance between file size and quality.
Does compression reduce quality?
Our compression tool offers both lossless and lossy options. Lossless compression reduces file size without any quality degradation by removing redundant metadata and optimizing compression algorithms. Lossy compression achieves smaller file sizes by selectively discarding less noticeable image data, which you can control via the quality slider.
What formats are supported?
We support all major image formats including JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, and AVIF. Each format is handled with format-specific optimization to ensure the best compression results.
Can I compress multiple images at once?
Yes, you can compress multiple images in batch mode. Simply select all the images you want to compress and our tool will process them simultaneously, saving you time.

Image Resize

Change image dimensions to any size you need

Resize Images
What resize modes are available?
We offer multiple resize modes: exact dimensions, percentage scaling, fit within bounds (maintaining aspect ratio), and crop-to-fit. You can also set maximum width/height constraints for responsive image optimization.
Can I resize by percentage?
Yes, you can resize by any percentage from 1% to 1000%. This is useful for quickly scaling images down for web use or up for print. When scaling up, we apply interpolation to maintain quality.
Will resizing affect image quality?
Downscaling (making images smaller) generally preserves quality well. Upscaling (making images larger) can introduce blurriness, but our tool uses advanced interpolation algorithms to minimize quality loss.
What formats preserve transparency?
PNG and WebP formats preserve transparency when resizing. If you resize a transparent PNG or WebP image, the transparency will be maintained in the output.

Image Conversion

Convert images between any format

Convert Images
What formats can I convert between?
You can convert between JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, AVIF, and SVG. This covers all common use cases from web optimization to print preparation.
Is there a quality loss when converting?
Some conversions are lossless (PNG to WebP with lossless setting) while others involve recompression (JPEG to PNG). We always inform you about the quality implications before conversion.
Can I batch convert multiple images?
Yes, batch conversion is fully supported. Upload multiple images and convert them all at once to your chosen format, saving significant time.
Which format is best for web use?
WebP and AVIF offer the best compression-to-quality ratio for web use. JPEG is still widely supported and good for photographs. PNG is best for images requiring transparency or sharp edges like logos and icons.

Image Crop

Crop images to any shape or aspect ratio

Crop Images
What crop ratios are available?
We provide preset aspect ratios including 1:1 (square), 4:3, 16:9, 3:2, and custom free-form cropping. You can also specify exact pixel dimensions for precise control.
Can I crop without losing quality?
Yes, cropping does not degrade image quality. It simply removes portions of the image, keeping all original quality intact for the remaining area.
What is the difference between crop and resize?
Cropping removes outer portions of an image to change its composition, while resizing scales the entire image. Crop changes what is in the frame; resize changes the overall dimensions.
Can I preview the crop before applying?
Yes, our interactive crop tool provides a live preview showing exactly what the final result will look like before you apply the crop.

Crop Image to Circle

Create circular profile pictures, avatars, and logos

Crop to Circle
What is a circle crop used for?
Circle crops are commonly used for profile pictures, avatars, logo badges, thumbnail icons, and social media images. The circular shape creates a clean, modern look.
Does the output support transparency?
Yes, when you crop to a circle, the area outside the circle becomes transparent (supported in PNG and WebP formats). This allows the circular image to be placed seamlessly on any background.
Can I adjust the circle position?
Yes, you can drag to reposition the image within the circular crop area. This lets you center the most important part of your image within the circle.
What size should I use for social media?
For most social media platforms, a 400x400 pixel circular image works well for profile pictures. Instagram profile pictures display at 110x110 pixels. We recommend starting with a high-resolution source image.

Remove Metadata

Strip EXIF and private data from your images

Remove Metadata
What metadata is removed?
We remove all EXIF data including GPS location, camera model, date and time, photographer information, device settings, and any embedded thumbnails. The image data itself remains untouched.
Why should I remove metadata?
Removing metadata protects your privacy. Photos taken with smartphones often contain GPS coordinates that reveal where the photo was taken. Removing this data prevents location tracking when you share images online.
Can I selectively keep some metadata?
Currently we remove all metadata in a single operation. This is the safest approach for privacy. If you need to keep certain metadata, we recommend using dedicated EXIF editing software.
Does removing metadata reduce quality?
No, removing metadata does not affect image quality at all. Only the embedded metadata is stripped, while the pixel data remains completely unchanged.
